Gratitude Prayer

A gratitude prayer may be one of the most precious prayers that can be uttered. A gratitude prayer is an acknowledgement, an honoring and a deep respect in response to being given a something special.

In saying "Thank you" you give your thanks, your acknowledgement for what you have received. Saying thank you for the interaction of daily moments that enhance life affirms the essence of life.

"Sacred is the prayer that asks for nothing . . .
And gives thanks for every breath you take."
Prince

Praying a prayer of gratitude has benefits too. It grows an attitude of gratitude that paves a way to peace of mind and heart. It improves your mental health . Sincerely uttering a prayer helps to accelerate peacefulness.

A prayer can also heal and improve your spiritual wellness.

Below you will find a few prayers of gratitude. You can create your own, too. A therapeutic way to do that is through practicing the gratitude exercise and keeping a gratitude journal. A gratitude journal is a record of your heart - a record of love, kindness, and goodness. Of gifts given, the goodness flowing to you, and of gifts received, acknowledged by your gratitude.
